Andrea Julius currently serves on the CDCA Board of Directors. Her roles: Chair: Summit. She also serves as a Charleston based Project Manager for Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc. supporting multiple projects at SPAWAR Atlantic. Over the past 10 years, her professional experience includes: Program Management, Quality Management, Business Development, Capture and Proposal Management, and Technical Writing. She received a Bachelor’s of Science from East Carolina State University in 1997 and recently graduated with an MBA from Ashford University. She also is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Andrea is actively involved with the CDCA, AFCEA, WID, PMI, and the Golden Key International Honors Society within the Charleston community. She also volunteers with the Special Olympics and First Robotics competitions. Her goal is to enhance effective communication between our government customers and the Department of Defense industry, as well as industry-to-industry collaboration. Additionally, Andrea supports developing the means to provide advance technologies related to continuing education and professional certifications for our area workforce. Andrea served as Charleston’s Young AFCEAn Committee Chair/Co-Chair for two years. Andrea has been instrumental in developing the Lowcountry Young AFCEAn community by assembling a committee devoted to organizing various events focused on young professionals in our industry. Specifically, the target areas include community outreach, professional development, and social networking. As a result of Andrea’s efforts, the AFCEA International Awards Committee has selected her as a Regional Distinguished Young AFCEAn for 2012.
