The Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA)’s 14th Annual Defense Summit will feature a technology innovation competition.

CHARLESTON, SC – November 19, 2020 – The Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA)—a non-profit advocacy group focused on the growth of defense and technology-related industries in the Charleston area—today announced the opening of registration for the Innovation Pitch Jam, which will run during the 14th Annual CDCA Summit, March 2-4, 2021 at the North Charleston Convention Center.

The Innovation Pitch Jam will feature a two-part live pitch competition with the goal of introducing new, cutting edge technology solutions to Government, Military, and Industry leaders. CDCA Defense Summit is one of the largest defense-focused events on the East Coast, bringing together more than 1,000 Government, Military, Academia and Industry leaders to spark ideas, innovation, and solutions to our current and future National Defense digital challenges. This year marks the third annual pitch competition to be featured at the Defense Summit.

Recognized as the 2019 Best-in-Show pitch event winner, Blue Eye Soft founder and CEO Srikanth Kodeboyina stated, “We are THANKFUL to CDCA for organizing such a wonderful event and for helping us connect with the right Defense groups.”

To align with Secretary James Guerts’ initiatives to accelerate the Navy’s adoption of technology innovations, the CDCA is working with industry stakeholders to bring new technologies and solutions center stage at the 2020 Defense Summit. The Pitch Jam will be a keystone event open to all companies to highlight the Navy’s push for Defense innovation. “Mohawk Matt” Denny, a member of the NavalX team is confirmed as the high-energy emcee for this year’s Pitch Jam events.

Using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Technologies to Enhance DoD Data Management Capabilities
Technologies and Solutions That Overcome DoD Challenges with DevSecOps

Companies interested in participating in the Innovation Pitch Jam will provide a written abstract outlining the company’s solution and unique discriminators to one of the specific topics. A panel of experts will select finalists to present live at the Defense Summit. The Best-in-Show winner for each topic will be determined at the event by a panel of judges comprised of a Government stakeholders.
