Chair: Gabe Bell The Education & Workforce Development Committee will enhance the technical capabilities of the association in support of local DOD organizations. The intent is to work with all levels of academia to promote education and workforce development in the DOD community from entry level to professional accreditation. It is responsible for generating student interest, funding various educational initiatives and creating outreach to regional academia. The committee will promote and administer the association’s summer internship program, promote initiatives for workforce development, and also maintain awareness and complement/support other initiatives that are being undertaken by other organizations. Our Mission The CDCA Education & Workforce Development Committee’s mission is to work with all levels of academia to promote education and workforce development in the Defense community from entry level to career professionals that are technical, sustainable and relevant to our members. Our community engagement includes funded internships, sponsorships, academic outreach, member mentorship, and funding educational initiatives. Participation on the CDCA Education & Workforce Development Committee is open to all individuals who have a passion for education and workforce development. Intern Sponsorship Stipend Program
Becoming a CDCA Intern Sponsor is simple!
Step 1 | Platinum or Corporate member company submits a Letter of Intent (LOI) to the CDCA Education & Workforce Development Committee by 15 April 2025; this enables CDCA to bring awareness of the positions to colleges and universities, where possible. Potential interns will follow up with member companies to apply for the internship being offered. Additionally, LOIs are posted (here) to direct students to available positions from our members. Please review the Internship Program details, submit your Letter of Intent and apply once you have selected an intern!
